This may be one of the “rarest” baits and boxes that I own. I have seen very few of these, and I suspect few were made or survived. Little is known about this bait.
Judging from the box, the lure was actually a mini-flashlight that shown down the line to your hook where you attached your live bait to. It was intended for night fishing. How did I get all the information from the box? Well, for the image shows two men fishing at night. One has caught a fish, and it is leaping out of the water. This fish is lit up by the mini-flashlight as it leaps in the air.
Now, being such a rare bait, it must be worth a lot. Well, no…. Due to it being such a “non-exciting” bait…the value is quite low…although the bait and box could bring about $100 to the right collector. Still, not bad for a box only about 3 inches long….
